One of Yarra’s largest parks at 24 hectares, Edinburgh Gardens is located in the heart of North Fitzroy. There you will find plenty of open lawn areas, shady and sheltered spots, garden beds and specimen trees, connected by an extensive network of paths.
It is easily accessible by public transport, close to Rushall Station and Brunswick Street trams. Its proximity to the Capital City Trail makes it easy to get there on foot or bike.Â
The park has a number of facilities for people to enjoy including heritage rotunda, picnic and barbeque areas, tennis courts, lawn bowls, a basketball court, skate park, playgrounds, table tennis table and sports fields; Alfred Crescent and W.T. Peterson ovals.
Roughly half of the park is designated dog off-leash, making it easy for our 4 legged friends to catch up with their mates.
