    Northern territory is an Australian union territory located in the northern central region shares border with South Australia to the south, Western Australia to the west and Queens land to the east. Despite covering the large area in the country, the territory is sparsely populated around 250,000 which is the least in rankings among other state and union territory. However the territory has many natural wonders. The land area of this territory accounts for 18% of the Australia’s total population and also the coastal line of this territory stretches about 13500 km. Darwin the territorial capital city, accounts for 60% of the total population.The residents of the territory are called “Top enders” or “Centralians”.

    Wet climate

    The territory experiences high humidity and monsoon downpours during the months between November and April with a temperature range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius. Stunning lightning storms strikes in the months from October to December. The city also encounters a gentle sea breeze from the harbour.

    Arid Climate

    The dry condition in the months between May and September makes every one dehydrated. The season is typified by warm sunny days and breezy nights with a temperature range from 20- 30 deg Celsius and lower humidity. The territory enjoys a cool nights with a temperature ranging from 17- 23 deg Celsius.

    The domed rock structure gives a strange experience to visit. There are about 36 domed rocks stretches along the deep valleys and narrow steeps.

    Kakadu National Parks

    The Australia’s largest national park which gives a breath taking appearance of greeneries. In addition there are about 75 different species of reptiles, the dangerous salt water crocodile, wide variety of fishes, mammals and birds. The heavy downpour in this region flows down the slope in wondrous waterfalls.

Energy resources comprise oil, natural gas and uranium and its production takes place at onshore with three areas offshore which persist to dominate energy exploration. Minerals in northern territory include Gold, bauxite, manganese, zinc, lead and silver are the major producers.
