Bathurst, is a regional city located in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is the oldest inland settlement in the country. Bathrust is well-known for the gold, as it was the site for the first gold discovery. As a result, it is referred as the Gold Country of Australia. The city has increased urban development, encompassing the retail precincts, sporting, facilties, housing estates and expanding industrial areas.

The city is located at around 200km to the north- west of Sydney, the state’s capital and it is elevated at 650m from the ground level.
