Yabun Festival

January 26, 2018

Yabun Festival is the highly anticipated event in Sydney celebrated by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island cultures on 26th of January at traditional lands of the Gadigal people in Australia. The event promises the people to socialise, celebrate, and immerse themselves in the world’s traditional surviving culture.
The event features dynamic music, a corroborree ground, arts and a bustling stalls market and programs for the youngsters and adults. Also, the best indigenous artisans expose their music talents to the spectators. Some of the past performers encompass Archie Roach, Dan Sultan, and Jessica Mauboy. In addition, dancers around the country perform exciting and graceful moves energetically on the Corroboree Ground. And most importantly, there are panel discussions and community forums about Aboriginal issues.
